Important Informations

Wildlife tours are executable all year round. There is a limit of max 3 persons per one wildlife photography tour. Note that single wildlife tour is foreseen to take up to 5 hours/ day according to weather and daylight conditions.

For the wildlife photography and / or hiking tour we recommend:

Bring clothes with wind & rain protection and good hiking boots. Some additional hiking accessories (like hiking poles…) can be borrowed on the spot.

Activity level: for the wildlife photography and/ or hiking tours. Forest paths going uphill will be used, hence appropriate physical condition is required.

We recommend to arrange travel insurance.
Passport/visas/important:
Your passport must be valid for at least three months beyond your planned date of departure from the Schengen area. Keep this in mind if you are doing more than one European trip. It is strongly suggested by the embassy to make sure your passport is valid for at least six months beyond your departure date.
US citizens and citizens of EU countries do not need a visa for tourist stays less than 90 days in Slovenia/the Schengen area.

Slovenia’s currency is Euro – €.

VAT/TAX refund: Visitors from countries outside Schengen area can obtain a VAT refund by getting a special form at the point of sale.

Electricity: 230-volt, Type C Europlug (CEE 7/16) – the plug used in most other European countries, or Schuko Type F (CEE 7/7).

ABOUT

The photography tour can be organized regardless of physical condition of guest. It can be done from the hills to the highest mountains. In Slovenian state reserve chamois, roe deer, red deer, mouflon, wild boar and the Alpine ibex, the speciality of the state reserve can be seen.
